"We are writing in support of Kurt Kowaltschny. Kurt oversaw the renovation of our house which was completed in March 2022. This was a complex build with a number of detailed design elements and custom features. We are thrilled with the result – our dark and dated100 year old house has been transformed into a light, open and stylish home.
The quality of the build was outstanding. Kurt’s attention to detail and pride in the work ensured that all work was completed to a very high standard. We were impressed by Kurt’s focus on quality across all stages of the build, right through to the final clean.
Throughout the renovation Kurt was highly professional. He was accurate with his costings and meticulous in his documentation and record keeping. Kurt’s high standards were evident in his well-run team and organised and tidy work site.
Kurt has a formidable work ethic. He was across all the details on site and responded to emails from us and our architect each evening. As successive Covid waves hit, Kurt worked hard to navigate challenging supply chain issues, labour shortages and delays associated with positive Covid cases.
The project required considerable flexibility. Kurt continually adjusted the project schedule to ensure we maintained momentum despite the pandemic. On top of this, he was gracious in accommodating us when we changed our mind about fittings and finishes.
We particularly appreciated Kurt’s advice and suggestions throughout the project. While respectful of the architect’s vision and design, he was able to recommend design efficiencies and finishes which saved us money and time.
